What Is Sustainability Council?
Sustainability Council acts as a hub for students with an interest in sustainability to connect with others, collaborate on projects, and make a change on the OSU Campus. At Council, we welcome all Oregon State students to participate and have their voice heard.

I'm ready to Make a Support Request

Meet our Council Facilitator!
Isabella Mitchell: Hello! I am a sustainability nerd with a desire to change the world. At OSU I am pursuing a dual degree in Sustainability and Public Policy with a minor in Psychology. My goal is to unite Sustainability efforts at OSU by creating a designated space on campus and to provide support to fellow students who are completing their own sustainability project. Feel free to contact me at any time with any sustainability idea big or small.
Frequently Asked Questions
Please allow at least two weeks for support request submissions to be reviewed. If you would like to discuss your support request or ask questions, reach out to [email protected].
Any OSU students can make a request.
If your support request does not pass a review by the Council Facilitator or Voting Council Representatives, adjustments or clarification may be required. Once changes have been made, support requests can be submitted again for reconsideration. The Council Facilitator will offer assistance throughout the resubmission process.
Voting Council Representatives are students that have attended at least 50% of Council meetings during a given academic year. If you would like to become a Voting Council Representative, you are invited to join the weekly Sustainability Council meetings!
Responses to questions on the Support Request Form do not need to be long – a few sentences to each will suffice. If the support request is for a large amount of funding (≥$500), more detailed information may be required.
A variety of projects can receive funding from Sustainability Council, from individual capstone projects to projects/events from sustainability student clubs & orgs.
